Part of the findnewfriends.exe series, this piece uses computer vision technologies to craft a multimedia experience whose main protagonist is a lonely bot searching for friends in embodied places. This interactive installation consists of a large projection, two speakers, and a webcam. In this part, audience members can record themselves performing some motion for a short time which will then be added to the computer's “journal” and looped continuously while there are no users actively interacting with the piece. The motion of the participants is also translated into sound.
